Birth Poster Design

What is the difference between a Birth Poster Design® poster and the standard
generic poster?

The Birth Poster Design site is a tool with which you can design your own unique and
stylish poster. The poster is designed just for you, and features someone you love.
Notice that the length you enter, changes the length of the baby illustration on the
poster. Your loved one will be printed at the length entered for the time of birth.
In our design tool at the, “Choose Illustration” section: You input illustration style,
baby orientation (left or right), and background color. In the “Birth Details” section
you can choose text label language, name, unit of weight (metric or British
imperial), length, weight, date of birth, and time of birth.

Orders and Shipping

What is Estimated Time of Delivery?

It’s our hope that your item is safely delivered as soon as possible,
but given the factors involved, we can only give estimates as follows:
It takes 2-5 business days until the poster is printed.
Thereafter following is the estimated delivery time;
Standard Delivery (included in the sales price).
Delivery time Nordic 3-8 working days
Delivery time Europe 3-8 working days
Delivery time USA 4-5 working days
Delivery time Australia 4-5 working days
Delivery time (Rest of the World): 6-14 working days

After the order is fulfilled and shipped out you will
receive an email with a link to follow your order.

I entered the wrong delivery address. What Can I do?

As quickly as possible, send a message to
support@birthposterdesign.com and we will try to get the address
changed before shipment has started.

Can I get tracking info for my shipment?

Yes. When the poster is printed, you will receive an email with tracking
number so you can find the delivery status of your poster.

Delayed order

If you experience a problem with a delayed order, send a message to
support@birthposterdesign.com

Can I cancel my order?

As quickly as possible, contact us so that we can try to cancel your order and
you can create your Birth Poster Design again. We can only stop the order
before the poster has been printed, not after it has been printed.

Returns and Claims

Can I return my poster and get refunded?

Legally, it is not possible to return clearly personalized products, so we
usually do not accept returns when the items are neither faulty nor
damaged. But we can look into your specific case to see if we
can help. Contact us by email at support@birthposterdesign.com.
We do not offer free returns, and do not pay
the shipping costs for return shipments.

My poster is damaged. What can I do?

Please note an explanation of any damages you can see and send it together
with a photo of the damaged poster to: support@birthposterdesign.com.
We will print and ship a new poster as soon as we can.

What is the shipping cost?

Right now, worldwide shipping is free.

Who pays customer duties, taxes and custom clearance fees?

Buyers pay additional costs such as custom duties, taxes, and customs
clearance fees. Import charges can vary widely but are most commonly
based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions,
origin country, as well as the taxes, duties, and fees
of the destination country.

Payment

How can I pay?

You can pay only with credit cards which display a Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, JCB or China Union Pay logo. We use Stripe, Inc.
which provides the technical, fraud prevention, and banking
infrastructure required to operate on-line payment systems.

About our products

What is the poster size?

50×70 cm (19.7 x 27.6 inches).

Do you sell frames?

We do not sell frames but we are currently exploring the possibility. The frame
size you need for the poster is 50×70 cm (19.7 x 27.6 inches).

Which languages can I create the posters in?

We now support more than 20 languages. You can see the options under
“Language” in our birth poster design tool.

Who is the illustrator?

The lovely illustrations are made by the Swedish illustrator and painter
Märta Lindquist. Märta has made illustrations for children’s books and book
covers, and she has also produced many other illustrations and paintings.

Do you offer different background colors?

Yes we offer the background colors which you can see in our Birth Poster
Design tool. Sometimes we update the background colors so check our
website regularly.
